Ryobi

Posted on February 26, 2015 by Scott Smith

I am a big fan of cordless tools. I have a number of different items in my shop. I was about ready to put all my Ryobi items up for sale because the batteries had failed and I didn’t want more of the old ni-cad batteries. I wanted to start upgrading to lithium batteries.

Well Ryobi offered new lithium batteries that I could put back in my old tools. I called it “backwards” engineering or smart marketing. Instead of forcing me to buy new tools, all I needed were new batteries and chargers.

In fact, because I was able to keep all my old tools I felt a new loyalty and added a cordless trim nailer to finish all the quarter round in the basement that I have been ignoring.

Just today I received the new cordless tree trimmer I ordered through Home Depot.

I have a few more items I am thinking about…oh, and i bought the Ryobi smart phone stud finder.

Cool products…way to go Ryobi
