Launching a new E-Magazine

I know…this is not really wings wheels or water…but I got involved anyway. This might not be in your realm or neighborhood but its still an exciting new venture for us. 
We are launching a new free electronic magazine called, “Enlightening Up,” with the first issue slated to release on October 1.  This will be an electronic magazine instead of printed, and it will focus on spiritually-based experiences, activities, events, providers and services in Iowa and surrounding areas.
Our website is under construction at www.EnLighteningUp.com. 
Each issue will have articles written by and about events focusing on our spiritual community.  In addition, we will have a free comprehensive spiritual community event calendar, Business / Service Directory and advertising space will be available.
We intend to include a “Business / Service Directory” in each issue, and we are inviting you to be included with a free listing.  In the future we may charge a nominal fee for a listing, and also may offer the possibility of purchasing a “Business Card” ad or a display ad.  But for the first several months, we are offering free listings only.

Know This and Manifest More Quickly By Christopher Westra

Three simple steps we should all consider.  I often think I want something, but in the end I really didn’t want it at all. Whats up with that.

Step One:

Step One is to identify WHY you are desiring certain things in your life.  Remember that your basic or foundational “WHY” is always an emotion.

Step Two:

Step Two is to start feeling your desired emotions now. Yes, right now, before you manifest anything!

Step Three:

After engaging in step two for a couple weeks, move on to step three.

In step three, you ask yourself whether you still want to manifest what you thought you wanted in step one!

Being present in the moment is one of the most powerful things you can ever do.

Being present NOW – releases you from judgment and frees you to truly connect and experience and manifest the experience in this life that you desire. This takes awareness before it becomes habitual.

Try this…As you go throughout your day, set an alarm on your phone – I suggest every hour – let’s call this the ‘Get present in the NOW Alarm’ – when the alarm goes off, all you do is focus on the moment. Bring your mind and attention to the moment. Don’t judge yourself if you were off in your mind somewhere else, gently bring yourself to NOW.

Ask yourself, “what can I notice about right now that I appreciate?”

Try using the ‘Get present in the NOW Alarm’ for 30 days and you will be amazed and how much more present you become. And when you are present, you are able to be in a peaceful state of awareness and positive receiving.
